Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Wes and I did our usual Thanksgiving routine and it was great... except for the part where the plumbing went crazy as we were trying to clean up :( Mel, Nate and I ended up doing dishes as if we were camping and let me tell you, that was an adventure. It made us really thankful for (working) indoor plumbing, that's for sure.
In the end, we did manage to wash everything that didn't fit into the dishwasher. We sang a few verses of Celine Dion and discussed the merits of sponge bathing. There was wine involved. Just trust me when I say, you had to be there to understand what I'm talking about.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, we're eyeballs-deep in Christmas preparation and shopping. And while you're out and about doing nice things for others, please remember to take a moment to treat yo' self. It's only right.
